The general public is hereby informed that the official launch and first screening of the October 1967 *Mwanza War Video* Documentary, has been postponed from 22 December 2018 to *2nd February 2019.*
This is due to a number of concerns received pertaining to logistical bottlenecks in light of the festive season that has commenced that would hamper patronage of the event.
The venue and time remain the same *Underground Cinema* at Chichiri Shopping Mall Complex from *18:30hrs* .
The guest of honour to this event is a veteran freedom fighter and the first woman to qualify as a lawyer not only in Malawi but the entire Southern Africa, Dr. *Vera Chirwa* the widow to Orton Chirwa.
A few free entry tickets are still available for those keen to attend this historical event.
But spaces are very limited.
These free tickets will be given out on *first come- first serve* (one per head) given the limited spaces.
Those interested are urged to express interest or register by email:
Or whatsapp:+265888388044
The new deadline for registration has therefore been extended to *03 January 2019.*
Only those with special invitation letters as guests or entry tickets/vouchers will be allowed entry.
Those who already registered for the 22 December 2018, are urged to indicate their availability for the new date through the same contacts given above by 03 January 2019.
Otherwise, in the absence of fresh confirmations by those already registered, it will be interpreted that they have withdrawn their attendance given the new date hence the free tickets reserved for them will be given to others.
