LOST HISTORY FOUNDATION TO MAKE A PRESENTATION AT A CONFERENCE ON FREEDOM ROAD AND ITS INTERSECTIONS: THE STRUGGLES FOR THE LIBERATION OF SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL AFRICA AND THEIR INTERCONNECTIONS TO BE HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING IN SCOTLAND ON 15 JUNE 2019.

The Lost History Foundation has produced a video documentary to tell the story of the October 1967 Mwanza War. This film has local and international appeal in the way it connects the struggle against the totalitarian regime of Dr Kamuzu Banda and its linkages with the revolutions in Cuba, Algeria, South Africa and Mozambique.

The film tells the story from the perspective of the ‘Rebels’ (as the freedom fighters were then labelled as by the Dr Kamuzu Banda’s regime. The film also tackles the influence of the Apartheid Southern Africa, British Government and the USA Government during the cold war in Central and Southern Africa and in particular the divide between capitalism and communism.
