It is with great sadness and sorrow that we learnt today about the passing of one former Socialist League of Malawi (LESOMA) cadre called Derrick Nkosana.
Born in November 1962, Derrick Nkosana passed away in the early hours of Saturday 17th August 2019 in London. He had a long and painful battle with cancer. He will be laid to rest today in Zambia.
He leaves behind two young girls and a son and an elderly mother & father back in Zambia.
Enock Nkosana was among young Malawians in exile who joined the opposition political party LESOMA and acquired scholarships through LESOMA to pursue tertiary education in Bulgaria.
Other young Malawians who also studied in Bulgaria through LESOMA were Maxwell Mandere Gondwe, Chisuse Somanje, Michael Mponda, Frank Jewa Jewa, Dazika Michongwe, ,Robin Waliya, John Chalira, Eunice Chalira, Mc Donald Kasambara, Elizabeth Chipofya, Egson Kubwalo, Tekha Nkhwazi etc
