Episode 5 on Mwanza “war” of October 1967 aired on MIJ FM on Sunday (evening) the 29th October 2017 marking the end of the 50th anniversary commemorations of both the Mwanza “war” and the death of Yatuta Chisiza and his lieutenant Lutengano Mwahimba who were shot dead during the “war” not forgetting the other 14 who fought alongside Chisiza and Mwahimba during this “war”.
This Episode 5 features interviews with the wife of Late Lutengano Mwahimba’s wife and Al Osman the only black journalist who covered the Mwanza “war” for the Times newspaper in October 1967.
These two interviews were carried out in October 2017.
